श्रीभगवतीस्तोत्रम्

जय भगवति देवि नमो वरदे,
जय पापविनाशिनि बहुफलदे।
जय शुम्भनिशुम्भकपालधरे,
प्रणमामि तु देवि नरार्तिहरे॥१॥

jaya bhagavati devi namo varade,
jaya pāpavināśini bahuphalade।
jaya śumbhaniśumbhakapāladhare,
praṇamāmi tu devi narārtihare॥1॥

हे वरदायिनी देवि! हे भगवति ! तुम्हारी जय हो। हे पापों को नष्ट करने वाली और अनन्त फल देने वाली देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो! हे शुम्भ-निशुम्भ के मुण्डों को धारण करने वाली देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो। हे मनुष्यों की पीड़ा हरने वाली देवि! मैं तुम्हें प्रणाम करता हूँ॥१॥

Victory to You, O Divine Goddess, My Salutations to You Who are the Giver of Boons,Victory to You O Devi, Who are the Destroyer of Sins and Bestower of Many Fruits,Victory to You O Devi, Who Wear the Heads of Sinful Demons Shumbha and Nishumbha (after slaying them),I Bow down to You O Devi, You Indeed are the Remover of Pains of Human Beings.

जय चन्द्रदिवाकरनेत्रधरे,
जय पावकभूषितवक्त्रवरे।
जय भैरवदेहनिलीनपरे,
जय अन्धकदैत्यविशोषकरे॥२॥

jaya candradivākaranetradhare,
jaya pāvakabhūṣitavaktravare।
jaya bhairavadehanilīnapare,
jaya andhakadaityaviśoṣakare॥2॥

हे सूर्य-चन्द्रमारूपी नेत्रों को धारण करने वाली! तुम्हारी जय हो। हे अग्नि के समान देदीप्यमान मुख से  शोभित होने वाली! तुम्हारी जय हो। हे भैरव-शरीर में लीन रहने वाली और अन्धकासुर का शोषण करने वाली देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो, जय हो॥२॥

Victory to You O Devi, Who Wear the Sun and the Moon as Her Eyes,Victory to You O Devi, Whose Beautiful Face is Adorned by the Glow of Fire,Victory to You O Devi, Who as the Supreme Being Fused Her Body with that of Bhairava (as Ardhanarishwara),Victory to You O Devi, Who Dried up the Strength of Demon Andhaka (for his wickedness).

जय महिषविमर्दिनि शूलकरे,
जयलोकसमस्तकपापहरे।
जय देवि पितामहविष्णुनते,
जय भास्करशक्रशिरोऽवनते॥३॥

jaya mahiṣavimardini śūlakare,
jayalokasamastakapāpahare।
jaya devi pitāmahaviṣṇunate,
jaya bhāskaraśakraśiro’vanate॥3॥

हे महिषासुर का मर्दन करने वाली, शूलधारिणी और लोक के समस्त पापों को दूर करने वाली भगवति ! तुम्हारी जय हो। ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, सूर्य और इन्द्र से नमस्कृत होने वाली हे देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो, जय हो॥३॥

Victory to You O Devi, Who Crushed the Demon Mahishasura with Trident in Hand,Victory to You O Devi, Who Destroy the Sins in All the Worlds,Victory to You O Devi, to Whom Pitamaha Brahma and Sri Vishnu Bow Down.Victory to You O Devi, to Whom Sun and the Other Devas Bow Down.

जय षण्मुखसायुधईशनुते,
जय सागरगामिनि शम्भुनुते।
जय दुःखदरिद्रविनाशकरे,
जय पुत्रकलत्रविवृद्धिकरे॥४॥

jaya ṣaṇmukhasāyudhaīśanute,
jaya sāgaragāmini śambhunute।
jaya duḥkhadaridravināśakare,
jaya putrakalatravivṛddhikare॥4॥

सशस्त्र शंकर और कार्तिकेयजी के द्वारा वन्दित होने वाली देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो। शिव के द्वारा प्रशंसित एवं सागर में मिलने वाली गंगारूपिणी देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो। दुःख और दरिद्रता का नाश तथा पुत्र-कलत्र की वृद्धि करने वाली हे देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो, जय हो॥ ४॥

Victory to You O Devi, Who is Praised by Lord Shanmukha (the Six-Faced Kartikeya) Adorned with various Weapons,Victory to You O Devi, Who is Praised by Lord Shiva seeing You Flowing towards the Ocean as river Ganga (for the welfare of mankind),Victory to You O Devi, Who Destroys All Sorrows and Poverty, Victory to You O Devi, Who Augments our Fortune by providing Sons and Wives.

जय देवि समस्तशरीरधरे,
जय नाकविदर्शिनि दुःखहरे।
जय व्याधिविनाशिनि मोक्षकरे,
जय वाञ्छितदायिनि सिद्धिवरे॥५॥

jaya devi samastaśarīradhare,
jaya nākavidarśini duḥkhahare।
jaya vyādhivināśini mokṣakare,
jaya vāñchitadāyini siddhivare॥5॥

हे देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो। तुम समस्त शरीरों को धारण करने वाली, स्वर्गलोक का दर्शन कराने वाली और दुःखहारिणी हो। हे व्याधिनाशिनी देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो। मोक्ष तुम्हारे करत लगत है, हे मनोवांछित फल देने वाली अष्ट सिद्धियों से सम्पन्न परा देवि! तुम्हारी जय हो॥५॥

Victory to You O Devi, Who Wear All the Bodies (remaining as the underlying Pure Consciousness),Victory to You O Devi, Who Bestows the Vision of Spiritual Sky (during meditation), thus Destroying the Root of our Sorrow (of spiritual ignorance),Victory to You O Devi, Who Destroy the Diseases (obstructing our spiritual progress) and finally Grants Liberation (from the delusion of samsara),Victory to You O Devi, Who thus Grants our Wishes and takes us towards the Most Excellent Siddhi (of spiritual fulfilment).

एतद्व्यासकृतं स्तोत्रं यः पठेन्नियतः शुचिः।
गृहे वा शुद्धभावेन प्रीता भगवती सदा॥६॥

etadvyāsakṛtaṃ stotraṃ yaḥ paṭhenniyataḥ śuciḥ।
gṛhe vā śuddhabhāvena prītā bhagavatī sadā॥6॥

जो कहीं भी रहकर पवित्र भाव से नियमपूर्वक इस व्यासकृत स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है अथवा शुद्ध भाव से घर पर ही पाठ करता है, उसके ऊपर भगवती सदा ही प्रसन्न रहती हैं॥६॥

This Stotram (Hymn) is Composed by Sage Vyasa, Whoever Recites this Stotram Regularly after becoming Bodily and Mentally Clean, in his Home or Anywhere with Pure Devotion to the Goddess, Will Please the Bhagavati Devi Always.
